Tips for business

Grammarly is an app that points out possible errors while you write content to share on social media, newsletters, emails, and more.

We all know putting your best foot forward when sharing content to showcase your business is essential. I love to write, but when you write for yourself, it’s easy to miss those little typos or grammatical errors because we look at the content so much our brains tend to gloss over them.

That’s where Grammarly comes in. You can download it for free. It runs in the background and points out possible errors, but unlike auto-correct, it highlights those errors and gives you the choice to accept or dismiss the changes.

When I first started writing my newsletter, I discovered how easy it was to miss those little details. I had a friend help me for a bit, but a full-time editor wasn’t in my budget just yet.

So if you’re just starting out, have a tight budget, or you simply want to save your editor time, check out this handy tool to help you avoid the little things that can slip through the cracks.

Do you use Grammarly or a similar app? What do you like best about it?
