Tips for business

Google Keep is a notetaking app that will replace your post-its, or little notebooks for notetaking on the run. It’s free and integrates with your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc. It can be synced across all your devices.

Google Keep helps me stay organized by color-coding my notes, goals, and even my grocery list. There are so many benefits to using Google Keep; here are a few:

  1. You can create a note from an email. It attaches the original email to the note so that you can reference it.
  2. You can create a grocery list with a reminder. There are a few ways to use this. You can set a reminder on your calendar. You can have a reminder set to pop up on your mobile phone when you get to the store, so no more making multiple store runs. My husband or I can run to the store, and we know exactly what we need without having to track each other down.
  3. You can keep track of business expenses on the run. You can add a picture of your receipt to catch up later or share it with your bookkeeper.
  4. You can record a note with your voice. It records your voice and converts it to text, so you can read or listen to it later.
  5. You can collaborate with a team on your lists. This makes planning events or dividing tasks for a large project a breeze.

It’s a powerful tool that helps save you time and will keep you and your team organized on the go. Once I started using it, I wouldn’t be without it. If you use google you should check it out.

What note-keeping app do you use and what do you like best about it?
