My client, Danielle is an Emotional Healing and Integration Guide. She does deep, meaningful work. And she uses her YouTube channel, Healing Tree with Danielle, to share that work with the people who need it most.
Recently we sat down together and did something unglamorous.
We got organized.
No aggressive marketing tactics. No algorithm hacking. We just made sure her content was easy to find, her workflow made sense, and her subscribers knew what to watch next.
And it’s working.
One of her recent videos, Forgive Yourself for Being Hard on Yourself, hit over 1,200 views in just the first few days. More importantly, she’s receiving positive feedback from her subscribers and their connecting with her message.
Here’s what made the difference.
We decided not to start from scratch every week and started working with what she already had. Using a tool called REAP Video, I pulled the best clips from existing long-form videos and sent Danielle a link to review. She approved the ones worth using, and from there I edited them into Shorts, we chose titles that spoke directly to where her clients actually are using AI to identify them, and built up a batch that was ready to publish.
Now the weekly task is light because nothing starts from a blank page.
We also organized her playlists so viewers could actually find their way around her channel. Not just tidy for the sake of tidy but organized around specific topics her audience is looking for. Someone trying to calm their nervous system shouldn’t have to dig through unrelated videos to find it.
And we made sure every Short had somewhere to go. A link to a longer video, a related playlist, a next step. A Short should never be a dead end.
That’s it. No viral moments required. Just a channel that feels clear, organized, and sustainable.
