I created an automated daily email triage system that runs quietly in the background of my Google account every single morning at 8:00 AM.
It scans my inbox, figures out what actually needs my attention, and sends me one clean summary email.
That’s it.
Now when I open that priority email, I have peace of mind, because I know exactly where to start, and nothing is slipping through the cracks.
Here’s what it does every morning:
- Scans every email from the last 24 hours
- Flags emails from my VIP contacts instantly
- Catches important keywords like “invoice,” “urgent,” or “deadline”
- Uses Google’s built-in AI to identify anything asking a question or needing a reply
One email + Clear priorities = Calmer morning.
Now, I’ll be honest with you.
This runs on Google Apps Script, so there’s some setup involved. If you’re comfortable in Google’s backend tools, you could absolutely build it yourself.

That’s actually why I do what I do.
