Things I Can’t Live Without: Family Visits

While my husband and I were excited to move to South Florida in 2009, it was difficult to leave our people in Pennsylvania. We’ve been blessed to have visits now and then. It’s my joy when our loved ones have the opportunity to join us here in paradise.

This week my cousins, Jen and Jana, were able to come for a little visit. They have been traveling and working around the country in their RV, and their travels brought them to Florida. We took the opportunity to catch up and have a look at Stuart.

We began with a bite at a local cafe called Hani Honey and then took a stroll along the beach. It wasn’t the best beach day, but it was nice to just catch up on our lives since we last saw each other. We shared a few laughs and encouraged each other. They shared a few souvenirs they kept from Mardi Gras with me.

They remind me every time I see them of the dream of getting back on the road in our own RV. Until then, I live vicariously through their adventures.

Do you have a dream you’ve been working toward and waiting for?  Do you have someone who reminds you there’s still time for your dream to come true?
