My ADHD brain requires little hacks to keep me on task and to remind me of important meetings.
After missing yet another meeting because my brain took me down another rabbit hole, I realized it was time set up a new strategy to keep it from happening again.
What was the answer?
Setting meetings on my calendar is great, but I can easily ignore the little alert and still miss the meeting. Setting an alarm on my cellphone, makes me stop what I’m doing and turn it off. This makes it impossible to ignore.
Now I start my day by looking at my calendar and setting an alarm for 10 minutes before each meeting of the day. This gives me a few minutes to get together for my next meeting. You can set as many alarms as you need and customize it for yourself and your needs.
