My father was one of a kind! He was smart, hard-working, entrepreneurial, as well as compassionate, stubborn, and adventurous. He passed away last week, but will not be forgotten.
He leaves 3 daughters who carry his legacy on. We all have bits and pieces of his personality in us and there is so much goodness there.
There are so many things I’m grateful for during the last several months after he received his diagnosis and we knew the inevitable outcome. My business enabled me to travel and be with him and the rest of my family, while he still could enjoy time together.
There were casino trips, dinners out and time spent watching news and talking about the old days. Then I was able to return during his final days and have another week of precious time with him and my sisters. I will cherish these memories in the days ahead as I walk this journey of grief and the loss of a man so many loved.
Do you have beautiful memories to share of a loved one who’s passed? Please leave me a comment, so I can celebrate with you!
