Several years ago, it became apparent to me that gluten was not friendly to my body. This was a difficult revelation for me because being raised in a strong Pennsylvania Dutch culture, I was raised eating many gluten-laden goodies.
Over the years, I found suitable substitutes to help when those overpowering cravings came on. If you’ve struggled with gluten, you understand the struggle to find replacements that satisfy the deep cravings within.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered a biscuit recipe for soft, flaky, yet crispy on the outside biscuits. These are done as drop biscuits, but you can do a more traditional biscuit shape as well. Here’s the link if you’d like to try it. The ninja foodi did an amazing job baking them and the only problem is finding the ability to limit myself to eating just one!
